NELSON MANDELA

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary as well as a politician and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to1999. Before becoming president , Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison then led his country democracy becoming the first African American president.

Mandela passed at home on December 5, 2013 at the age of 95 ."Our nation has lost its greatest son," said South African President Jacob Zuma. Mandela was a huge inspiration to people. President Obama said his first political action was an anti-apartheid protest inspired by Mandela, who "achieved more than could be expected of any man."

"After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.”
This quote is very inspiring to me. Meaning that no matter how many hardships you go through more Is going to come along; Life has endless obstacles.

Obama Care

The Government Shutdown was caused because of the Republicans disagreeing with Obama Care.

Obama Care would help many in this nation. Obama Care is for the better not for the worse. Obama care is suppose to be an Affordable Care for the nation. Obama Care's goal is to give more Americans access to affordable, quality health insurance, and to reduce the growth in health care spending in the U.S.

Over 100 million Americans have already benefited from the new health care law. Predicting that Obama Care is something Americans should try.

Obama Care offers a number of new benefits, rights and protections including provisions that let young adults stay on their plan until 26, stop insurance companies from dropping you when you are sick or if you make an honest mistake on your application, prevent against gender discrimination, stop insurance companies from making unjustified rate hikes, do away with life-time and annual limits, give you the right to a rapid appeal of insurance company decisions, expand coverage to tens of millions, subsidize health insurance costs, and require all insurers to cover people with pre-existing conditions.

ZIMMERMAN CHARGED WITH FELONY

George Zimmerman was charged Monday with felony aggravated assault after allegedly pointing a shotgun at his girlfriend . Remembering that Zimmerman  was acquitted earlier this year of murdering teenager Trayvon Martin but wasn't found not guilty according to the jurors .

Zimmerman is being held in jai without a bail. Tuesday will be his first appearance to the judge. In this I really think he should be guilty . He should be remorseful for his actions.

George Zimmerman estranged wife said that while she respects the jury's not guilty verdict in his second-degree murder trial, she now has doubts about his innocence. I also doubt his innocence, will i never thought he was not guilty for the murder of Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman was pulled over in early September going 60 mph in a 45-mph zone in Lake Mary and received a $256 ticket according to CNN.

George Zimmerman isn't an innocent guy as the juror and everyone makes it seems.

Abolishing Grades

No! I do not think abolishing the grading scale is going to be better for the schools and also the students in the schools . It would also be horrible for the future businesses and careers.

If we got the rid of the A,B,C,D, and F system was banned, it would be a lot easier to pass school. Students wouldn't try as hard, because they know they were doing good and not failing but they are actually failing .

Students are already not doing there work in schools. Abolishing grades doesn't make things an better. They would think they don't really have to do work because the F they use to have is now a D. Abolishing the grading scale is only lowering the students . Also helping them to fail in the real world.

Abolishing grades would make the kids dumber rather than more intelligent  .  The students in schools are the future . You don't want a doctor that barely passed in school to work on your body when you have an emergency.

Over all I think we should keep the American grading scale, it makes American students work harder, and that makes them more ready for the life ahead of them.

Philippines Typhoon Haiyan

Philippines Typhoon

There was a major disaster in Philippine called the Typhoon Haiyan . Killing an estimate of 10,000 people and more bodies are still being found. Tokyo Japan I sending 1,000 troops as well as navel vessels. his is very emotional because they were someone brother , sister , mother daughter , son and etc.

Babies were being born during that devastating typhoon.  Its sad that a new arrival have came but was swiped right away from an rampage.  People I Philippine is struggling to feed their families because of there houses being dissolved in water.

Japan donated $10 million dollars to the Philippine and sent and sent a 25-strong emergency medical relief team as well as 50 troops.

The only branch of government is working there is the military.  Sadly the government was wiped out from the storm. Officials were dead, missing or too overcome with grief to work. Of the city's 293 police officers, only 20 had shown up for duty.
